Dobby goes to the Vet 10/23

A little over a week after I brought Dobby home, I took him to the vet for a first check up and to make sure that the nice AAL rescue people hadn't overlooked something. One of the great things about adopting instead of buying is that when you bring home your new pet, most likely s/he is 100% up-to-date on shots, vaccines, heartworm medications, flea/tick treatment, and already spayed/neutered. You don't have to worry about vet visits for all of that, and the cost is nicely summed up in the adoption fee.

Such was the case with Dobbs. He got a clean bill of health and was extremely well behaved. He even let that nice doctor take his temperature without so much as a wince ;) Although it may have had something to do with the fact that they had lots of yummy treats, I think Dobby is just that nice!

Congratulations on adopting Dobby. You will love him. Chihuahuas are really smart little doggy's.

I have three Chihuahuas. Jonesy was adopted. He was a puppy so he wasn't neutered yet. Come by my blog and meet them and say, "Hi". You know, Chihuahuas gotta stick together.
